Hi

I Can Has Trance?

I'M NOT SLACKING OFF, I SWEAR

I'm posting here (with a sample!) to prove that I'm doing music and I'm still alive. (Terrible, I know, I know... For those of you who don't get the joke, it doesn't matter. :P)

Here is a rough version of a remix of "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap that I'm currently working on. This is my first serious effort at doing a more trance-style track, so I'm sure there will be plenty of things I did wrong to point out to me. Either way, try to enjoy it without being too harsh.

HIT ME:

Also, I'll be posting some pictures of my recent trip to Montréal, QC in the weeks to come, because it's such a pretty city and you deserve to see.

In the meantime, I should get some sleep...

Favourite SNES Music

A TRIBUTE TO THE CLASSICS

This is my own list of personal favorite SNES game music. I'm not claiming these songs (or in this order) to be "the best SNES music of all time", nor does it effectively rate how good the game is; this is simply a list of personal musical favorites ordered by preference. I've also included some Honorable Mentions for the Top 25 list. I tried to limit myself to one song per game, but not necessarily one game per franchise. I hope you enjoy despite the fact that this probably won't coincide with your own personal choices.
Playlist after the jump.

Tragic (Data) Loss.

REPRISE A LA SEAGATE

Being myself and having some of the worst luck when it comes to technology, my upgrade of operating systems failed in the middle of an installation and completely screwed my drive over, resulting in a total loss of all my data on my drive, programs, music projects and all. I'm disappointed to say the least as I've lost dozens of projects (I'm either slow with them or forget about them), the result of years of work, but on the bright side, I'm (somewhat) enjoying a fresh install of Windows 7. This doesn't mark the end of my blog or my projects. I'm going to start again - from scratch - and hopefully come up with something much better in the process. For now I can share a preview of what I've been working on (please keep in mind both of this tracks is still in "demo" phase.) and managed to upload to fileden before my drive got all messed up.

HIT ME:

To help cope with my loss, I'm working on completing and posting a list of my favourite music from some of my most-loved Super Nintendo games. I have a few picks from each game I've chosen so far, but I'm trying to limit myself to one song per game, and possibly one game per franchise, though I don't know how well that will work out considering I'm trying to hit the 25-50 song mark (I'm VERY picky with music). Depending on how things work out, I could be posting this list later today, though I wouldn't hold your breath.

Perfectly Pink Pixels & The Pallid Paper Portrait

A PARADE OF PIECES

I've been in a very artsy mood lately. This is the first time in quite a while creating art traditionally as opposed to digitally.

Made using pixelblocks. The (usually) Blue Bomber as he's seen in one of his suits from Mega Man 9. Unfortunately, I ran out of  black blocks before I could finish this.
